SmartCap comes with a 5-year manufacturer warranty.
No. SmartCap mounts to the factory bed rails using clamps — no drilling required. The cap can be removed later without any damage or holes in your truck.
The SmartCap roof is rated for 800 lbs static load and 300 lbs dynamic (driving) load — enough for a rooftop tent, roof rack loaded with gear, or expedition boxes. This is a real differentiator vs. fiberglass caps that are not rated for RTT use.
